Indications:
- For the treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations including Ixodes ricinus the vector of lyme disease. Also indicated for the treatment of control of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAID) and the treatment and control of mites (Sarcoptes scabei var canis ) and biting louse (Trichodectes canis) of dogs.
Method and Routes of Administration:
- Route of administration: By topical application to the skin.
- Dosage:
- 1 pipette of 0.67mL per dog weighing up to 10kg
- 1 pipette of 1.34mL per dog weighing 10kg to 20kg
- 1 pipette of 2.68mL per dog weighing 20kg and up to 40kg
- corresponding to a minimum recommended dose.
- Break the snap-off top from the spot- on pipette along the dotted line. Part the coat between shoulder blades until the skin is visible . Place the tip of pipette on the skin and squeeze gently at one or two spots to empty its contents onto the skin.
- Care should be taken to avoid excessive wetting of the hair with the product since this will cause a sticky appearance of hairs at the treatment spot. However, should this occur, this will disappear within 24 hours post application.
- It is important to apply the dose to an area where the animal cannot lick it off, if licking does occur, a brief period of hypersalvation may occur, due mainly to the alcohol nature of the carrier.
